Can someone tell me if the herb has calories, and if it has, how many does it have?

From what I have been able to read, it depends on the type of yerba from 9 calories to 45 (60 according to they say there) but very few bitter mate, as it does not have sugar. sugar is very caloric, at least every teaspoon between 20 and 30 calories. regards

yes, it has and the quantity depends on the brand and the origin ...
Look what I have seen is that Argentine yerba is a little less caloric than Brazilian, it has about 44 calories per serving, and Brazilian like almost 60. This is mainly due to the amount of protein and glucose it brings (if you look at the nutritional info you will see that it has carbohydrates and proteins)….
It is equivalent to eating an apple…. I mean, it's almost nothing ...
also that it is compensated much more when taking it for its laxative, duiretic and accelerator effect of metabolism…. If you are going to restrict yourself in calories, better restrict yourself in things that are high in calories such as cakes, bread and fried foods that are caloric and do not bring any slimming benefit, on the contrary ...
remember that if you want to take it to help you lose or control your weight you should not add sugar….

    regards

    bye
