How to make seed crackers

Ingredients

  • 120 grams of rice flour
  • 130 grams of cornmeal
  • 130 grams of chickpea flour
  • 1 cup of a mix of seeds: chia, flax, sunflower, poppy, sesame, pumpkin, etc.
  • 200 ml water
  • 7 grams of sea salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 grams of extra virgin olive oil
  • Spices to taste: oregano, pepper, turmeric, thyme, garlic powder, etc.

 We will not use any type of yeast, what we are looking for is a thin and crunchy bread.

Recipe preparation

  • We will place the eggs in a blender and beat until a homogeneous base is left.
  • We add the oil, salt, water and spices. 
  • We will mix the three flours separately and slowly add to the wet mixture.
  • It can add part of the seeds to the mixture and reserve a remainder to decorate on the surface.
  • Once mixed, we will cover and we will leave in the refrigerator for an hour so that the mixture rests.
  • We spread the dough on baking paper on the oven tray.
  • Preheat the oven to 220º and bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Let cool and cut the dough into small pieces.
  • Optional is to bathe with egg the dough so that the seeds do not stick so much.
