This light chard and onion soup was specially designed for all those people who are putting into practice a dietary regimen to lose a few extra kilos or a weight maintenance plan because it will only provide you with a minimum amount of calories.
Ingredients:
> 2 or 3 bundles of chard.
> 600g. of onion.
> Salt.
> Pepper.
> Oregano.
> 4 fresh parsley leaves.
Preparation:
First you must carefully wash all the chard leaves, cut off all the stalks and the areas that are ugly. On the other hand, you must peel all the onions. Once the two vegetables are ready, you will have to cut them into strips, preferably thin, and set aside until they are ready to be cooked.
You will have to place a pot full of water to heat, once the water has boiled you will have to add all the chard and onion and cook for 15 minutes, once the time has elapsed you will have to season with salt, pepper, oregano and leaves of parsley. You will need to cook over medium to low heat until the vegetables are tender.
