1600 calorie diet for diabetics

This is a diet designed especially for those people who suffer from diabetes and wish to follow a diet to lose weight. Now, you must carefully control the calories you consume daily since they cannot exceed 1600 calories.

If you follow this diet strictly, it will allow you to lose about 2 kilos in 10 days. You will have to drink as much water as possible, at least 2 liters per day. You will also have to drink your bitter infusions, season your meals with salt and lemon juice and do some kind of physical activity.

Daily menu

Breakfast: 1 glass of skim milk or 1 skim yogurt, 1 apple and 1 toast of bran bread.

Mid-morning: 1 fruit of your choice.

Lunch: 1 serving of chicken, 1 serving of mixed salad and 1 pear.

Mid afternoon: 1 low-fat yogurt.

Snack: 1 infusion of your choice, 2 plums and 1 whole wheat toast.

Dinner: 1 serving of lean meat, 1 serving of your choice of boiled vegetables and 1 apple.

Before going to bed: 1 infusion of your choice.
