Before freeze strawberries, it is important to separate them well. Those that are not pretty should be thrown away, they should not be frozen, nor eat strawberries that are a little rotten, too ripe, or discolored. Remember also that thawed strawberries do not have the same texture, nor the same flavor as fresh strawberries.

Before freezing strawberries you have to wash them well and dry them very well. In no case should it be convenient to put a wet fruit in the freezer because it would become too hard. Therefore, it is important to take enough time to dry the strawberries properly.

Once the strawberries are washed and dry, can be placed in a container in which they do not stick. In this way, you avoid having an amalgam of frozen strawberries. You should choose a container adapted to the freezer. The container is placed flat so that it is stable.

If you prefer to freeze the strawberries and give them a flavor sweet, the ideal is to make a sugar syrup. Mix 4 cups of water and one of sugar. Bring to a boil. Little by little, as the sugar thickens and the syrup becomes transparent, it is added to the container.

Then the strawberries are placed in the freezer following the instructions we have said before. To the defrost strawberries are delicious and perfect to accompany any dessert.

If you don't have a container to freeze your strawberries, you can use aluminum foil. Without washing, they are wrapped separately in pieces of foil, taking care not to crush them. Once thawed, the strawberries will be perfect.
