Do you like piña colada? If the answer is positive, you will surely find this recipe to prepare piña colada ice cream very interesting, refreshing and nutrient-dense to keep the body happy and healthy next summer.
If you have children at home, homemade ice creams represent a fun way to get nutrients. It should be remembered that the nutritional value of industrial-type ones is zero or very low and, in addition, they contain fat and difficult-to-pronounce ingredients that do not do your health any good.
These pina colada ice creams are nutritionally very complete. They provide vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and even fiber.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of spinach
1/4 cup of coconut milk
2 1/2 cups of pineapple fresh or in its juice
2 tablespoons grated coconut, unsweetened
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients well in the blender or with a mixer (although it will take a little longer) until smooth.
Pour the mixture into ice cream molds. If you don't have one, you can use disposable cups. Insert the popsicle sticks and put them in the freezer. Leave them there for at least 3 hours (it is advisable to make them in the afternoon and leave them overnight) and you will have a healthy and delicious dessert.
Notes: When removing your piña colada ice creams from their respective molds, you can submerge them in warm water if you feel they are very resistant.
If, like many people, you lose the flavor of spinach, don't worry; you can still enjoy this recipe. You just have to substitute them with other green leafy vegetables that are more to your liking. The most advisable are arugula or lamb's lettuce.
