Detox plan vs healthy eating habits

A detox plan is like a diet to lose weight, but based solely on fruit or vegetable juices. People do it to improve their overall health.

Some experts attribute to this combination of food deprivation and detox drink intake Power to remove toxic substances from the body, speed up metabolism and offer a rest to the gastrointestinal tract.

However, despite celebrities claiming otherwise, there is little evidence that detox plans and all miracle diets in general work to achieve any of the benefits mentioned above.

Is it safe to carry it out? Yes. A short detox plan does not have to cause any harm to people in strong health, although it should be noted that hunger is very likely to cause you to be in a bad mood. It is up to each one to do it or not, taking into account that there are no proven benefits.

To feel your best, there is nothing like having healthy eating habits. Eat plenty of fruit, vegetables, grains, seeds, and legumes and set aside all processed foods far away. Try to get at least seven hours of sleep a day and limit your alcoholic drinks to a maximum of one a day. All the promises of the detox plan will come naturally and without the need to make our body and mind suffer.

And remember a detox plan is not the same as a detox juice. We are in favor of the latter, since it is an excellent way to provide necessary nutrients to the body that, otherwise, many people may not get.
