Lime iced tea is a highly refreshing drink for the summer. In addition to helping to combat high temperatures, it accelerates the metabolism and deflates the belly, which is why it is considered a very interesting ally when you need to lose weight.
The following are the ingredients and the steps you must follow to prepare this drink that, taken instead of carbonated soft drinks and those caloric cafeteria drinks, can help you save a lot of daily calories.
Ingredients (1 person):
1 green tea bag
1/2 lime juice
A handful of ice
Stevia or other sweetener to taste
Pour boiling water into a cup or small glass and insert the green tea bag. Let it sit for at least 5 minutes.
Add the lime and the sweetener and stir with a teaspoon until all the ingredients are well mixed.
Lastly, add the ice cream. Better if it is crushed ice. And you are ready to drink.
If you want to get a jug of this drink to keep in the fridge, multiply the ingredients by four. And remember not to add the ice until serving time.
